The following resources have provided troop help for badges. Contact each directly to get specifics and/or reserve a date and time to visit and ask to be placed on their mailing list to receive program calendars and information. Be sure to send a thank you later or consider nominating them for a community award.

- Brukner Nature Center
Brukner has developed programs for Girl Scout troops of all ages and can assist with wildlife badges. They also offer overnight events for Brownies and Juniors during the year as well as programs and volunteer opportunities for Cadettes, Seniors and Ambassadors.

Fulton Farms is well-known for its fall activities. They also have a petting zoo with farm and exotic animals. - Heritage Village Museum
Heritage Village Museum is a living history museum depicting life in Southwestern Ohio through-out the 19th Century. Willing to give tours and focus on the things that your troop is interested in learning. Service project opportunities: Troops can help with gardening or other activities. Projects available to older girls working on their bronze, silver or gold awards, or girls can create their own. Bridging events or any other ceremonies or parties can be done here; great destination for tea parties.

Junior badge programs: Architecture, Art to Wear, Folk Arts, and Yarn and Fabric Arts.
More than willing to work with troops on badges that tie in with the museum. - Miami County Park District
Many outdoor programs are offered through MCPD including Raptor Rachel's Wild Weekend Discovery Series at the many park locations throughout the county. Discover a different park each month with your troop. - Miami Soil and Water Conservation District
Miami SWCD has resources available to help integrate conservation and natural resource topics into your troop badge work. Topics they can help cover include water, water quality, soil, wildlife, pollution, trees, habitats, and more. They have maps, games, books, videos and actual models such as Enviroscape (demonstrates a watershed), Stream Table (simulates how rivers and streams form & change), and a Ground Water Flow. If your badge work centers around water, water conservation, and/or water pollution/conservation, this is the resource to which to turn. You can also contact Linda Raterman at 335-SOIL. - Paper Alice
Local artisan specializing in papermaking using scrap paper and junk mail. Recycle and reuse while learning a new craft and earning a badge! - Troy Hayner Cultural Center
Hayner offers a variety of art, dance and music programs for which troops can register. They also have rooms available to reserve for troop meetings or events and many youth art programs are held in the carriage house. - WACO Field, Museum and Learning Center
The WACO Learning Center conducts programs with scout troops at the Field, located just north of the YMCA on County Road 24-A in Troy.
